This day, generally observed on the first Wednesday of every month by government organizations, aims to sensitize the public and employees about cyber threats and promote safe online practices. PNB's involvement in Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas underscores its commitment to enhancing cybersecurity and protecting its customers from financial fraud in an increasingly digital world. The bank utilizes this platform, along with its own dedicated programs, to disseminate crucial information on safe banking habits, identifying and avoiding online scams, and securing digital transactions. Beyond the monthly observance, PNB undertakes various independent initiatives to bolster cyber awareness. Recently, as part of its 131st Foundation Day celebrations, the bank organized a "Cyber Run" with the theme "Empowering a Secure Digital India." This event aimed to engage the public and promote the importance of vigilance in digital banking. Furthermore, PNB has launched cybersecurity hackathons to foster innovation in tackling cyber threats and regularly publishes advisories and educational booklets to keep its customers informed about the latest fraud modus operandi and preventive measures.
